SureChem
Quickly find chemical compounds in text documents
SureChem enables you to find all the chemical structures in a
patent,
journal article, conference proceeding or any other text document.
Users can search by chemical name, 2D structure or SMILES string.
Visual display of structure images, compound names and document
highlights let you quickly figure out which documents and compounds are
relevant to your search.
SureChem works by extracting chemical names from text
documents
and converting them into chemical compound structures. Because SureChem
can recognize what is and isn't a chemical name, it doesn't rely on
manually-curated compound name or structure databases.
The SureChem Portal currently gives users access to USPTO
full-text patent documents and MEDLINE journal abstracts. More patent
data, including European and Japanese patents, PCT applications and New
Zealand and Australian patents, will be added in coming months. For
customers looking to apply SureChem to their own document sources there
is a version of SureChem developed specifically for onsite
installation, SureChem Enterprise.
